Senior Primary School Ensemble Workshop

On Wednesday 12th July 2017 your child is invited to attend the Combined Primary Schools Senior Instrumental Workshop Day.  This is a full day workshop held at Grace Lutheran College, Rothwell Campus, for senior instrumental music students from Grace Primary, Living Faith and St Paul’s Lutheran Primary Schools.

For the first time in 2017, Grace Academy students from our partner primary schools in both the strings and band areas will be coming together for the day to form a combined primary school orchestra!  This is an exciting and unique opportunity for the students to learn alongside their peers from other instrument families and ensemble settings, and they will be working with a number of different conductors and teachers from our highly qualified Grace Academy staff.

Students will travel by Grace College bus to Rothwell, with a concert held in the afternoon showcasing the day’s work.  This workshop day is a fantastic opportunity for your child to meet with primary school senior musicians from our other partner schools and will further extend your child’s instrumental technique and ensemble playing in this unique setting.
