ROBOTICS HOLIDAY CAMPS
Grace Academy Robotics Holiday Camps are an innovative way to engage children in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). Camps are run in a fun and educational way to introduce core computer programming logic and reasoning skills using a robotics engineering context.
We run both Beginner and Intermediate camps to ensure that all students can be entertained, challenged and extended in their knowledge of programming using LEGO EV3 robotics kits and Mindstorms Software and a series of challenges supported by expert robotics teachers and selected high level student mentors.
An introductory day camp for students in Years 4 – 8 who have had little or no exposure to LEGO Robotics. This course includes use of LEGO EV3 robotics kits and Mindstorms Software and a series of mini challenges supported by an expert robotics teachers and selected high level student mentors. Camps run during business hours and are 2 days in length.
For students in Years 5 - 9 who have completed the Beginner Camp or have had significant experience with EV3 and Mindstorms Robotics. The content of this day camp is based on Project Based Learning and tasked are more open ended and complex with an engineering focus. Camps run during business hours and are 2 days in length.
