Music Studio @ Rothwell
Grace Arts Academy offers an excellent instrumental tuition program for school aged students after school. The instrumental instructors can guide students through exams or simply provide the necessary skills to enjoy playing. Our lessons are open to all school aged students, and tuition is provided by caring, highly qualified, industry professionals.
The instrumental program incorporates experienced private instructors of:

Drum Kit

Vocals (both Classical and Contemporary)
Lessons are available from 3:05pm Monday to Friday, subject to availability. All lessons are held in our teaching rooms at Grace Lutheran College, Mewes Road, Rothwell.
Tuition Fees in 2026 are as follows (subject to annual review):
Private Instrumental Music Lessons (30 minutes) - $42.50 per lesson*
Private Instrumental Music Lessons (45 minutes) - $63.75 per lesson*
Private Instrumental Music Lessons (60 minutes) - $85.00 per lesson*
Private Lessons (30 minutes) Trial Lesson $45.00 per lesson
Private Lessons (45 minutes) Trial Lesson $65.00 per lesson
Private Tuition: Multi-Instrument and Sibling Discount
We are very excited to offer families and students enrolled in private tuition, the introduction of multi-instrumental and sibling discounts from 1st January 2026. Grace Arts Academy students are encouraged to study multiple instruments, including voice, to expand and diversify their musical expertise.
Multi-Instrument Discount
If you have one student who is enrolled in two or three private tuition lessons each week, discounts apply to the second and third lesson fees:
· Standard tuition fees apply for the first (or longer length) instrument enrolment
· Tuition fees for a second tuition enrolment will receive a 10% discount off the standard lesson fee
· Tuition fees for a third tuition enrolment will receive a 30% discount off the standard lesson fee
· If lessons are of the same length, discounts will be applied in the order of each enrolment’s application date.
Sibling Discount
If you have more than one student enrolled in private tuition lessons each week, discounts apply to the second and third sibling’s tuition fees:
· Standard tuition fees apply for the first student enrolled
· Tuition fees for a second sibling enrolment will receive a 10% discount off the standard lesson fee
· Tuition fees for a third sibling enrolment will receive a 30% discount off the standard rate
· Further discounts apply for families with two or three students enrolled in multiple instruments – please contact Grace Arts Academy for information specific to your family’s circumstances.

Tuition Fees and Lessons - Terms and Conditions
Lessons for non-GLC students enrolled in Grace Arts Academy Music Studio will be invoiced 8 lessons per term, with adjustments for excused absences reconciled at the end of Term 4.
For GLC students enrolled in Music Studio lessons, 32 lessons will be invoiced at the start of the year.
Students commencing lessons after the start of Term 1, 2026 will be invoiced on a pro-rata basis, in line with the number of expected lessons remaining for the school year.
Lesson counts will continue to be monitored throughout the year and will be reconciled against the tuition invoices at the end of Term 4. If the number of total lessons invoiced across the year has not been reached by the end of Term 4, any lessons owing due to a student’s explained absence or instructor absence will be credited to your account.
Absences
Students involved in private lessons are required to provide 24 hours’ notice for explained absences, or by 8:00am on the morning of the absence in the case of illness. Notice of absence is required via email graceacademy@glc.qld.edu.au or telephone 07 3897 2118. Lessons with unexplained absences will be forfeited. To help keep track of attendance, notice will be sent to the account holder via email when students are absent from a lesson without notice.
Discontinuing Tuition
Students intending to discontinue lessons are required to complete a Notice of Intention to Discontinue Instrumental Lessons form. Student’s advising of their intention to discontinue lessons are required to do so prior to the end of the current term in order to avoid any unnecessary additional fees in the subsequent term. Cancellation requests received after this time, will be invoiced for the full amount of the current term’s fees.
