Primary Art Classes @ Rothwell Campus

Commencing from February 2027, Grace Arts Academy offers an excellent Visual Art Class for primary school aged students after school.  Our Primary Art Classes are open to school aged students in Years 3 to 6, and is provided by caring, highly qualified, industry professionals.

The Primary Art Class program incorporates:

  • Clay Faces

  • Mosaics

  • Portraits

  • Painting

Lessons are available from 3:30pm - 4.30pm Tuesdays, subject to availability. All lessons are held in our Visual Arts classrooms at Grace Lutheran College, Mewes Road, Rothwell. Students enrolled at our partner primary schools may wish to utilise the inter-campus Grace bus for transport to the College.  Please complete a Grace Bus Application and download the BusMinder app to arrange your student’s bus bookings – relevant fees apply for using this service.

Primary Art Class Fees in 2027 are as follows (subject to annual review):

  • $160 per term

  • For students with a current sibling at GLC College, Term fees will be added to the school fee statement

Primary Art Classes - Terms and Conditions

Primary Art Classes are invoiced each term and are non-refundable for absences or cancellations part-way through the Term.

A minimum of 8 classes will be held each Term.

Enrolment in classes will automatically roll over each term.

A lesson timetable will be distributed each term to confirm the Term’s schedule.

Absences

We encourage parents/guardians to notify Grace Arts Academy of your student’s absence from an Art Class (eg illness) via email graceacademy@glc.qld.edu.au or telephone 07 3897 2118. To help keep track of attendance, notice will be sent to the account holder via email when students are absent from a lesson without notice.  

Discontinuing Lessons

Students intending to discontinue lessons are to contact Grace Arts Academy prior to the end of the current term in order to avoid any unnecessary additional fees in the subsequent term. Cancellation requests received after this time, will be invoiced for the full amount of the current term’s fees.
